Finishing equipment distributor Friedheim International has completed a move to new headquarters within Hemel Hempstead just one minute from the M1, after 22 years at its Park House address and more than 137 since founder Oscar Friedheim set up business in London’s print district.
The new site at Unit 1 Zodiac on Boundary way is said by Friedheim to offer a ‘welcoming, light-filled environment’ with high speed connections, zoned environment control and heightened security, plus energy-saving architectural features.
Open plan working space in the first floor is complemented by a streamlined goods in/out arrangement on the ground floor with mobile spare parts racking, a high spec server and communications room and a large boardroom with integrated media centre.
‘Our customers are always at the forefront of our minds and to ensure we maximise our customer service offering we have to be forward-thinking while developing and maintaining the knowledge and expertise of our dedicated staff,’ said Mark Bristow, managing director and owner since 2005.
‘Completed over a weekend in November the move was executed with zero downtime – a team effort we’re very proud of. Our new place of business can be thought of as a springboard for growth; as we grow and adapt to the needs of our customers and stay ahead of technical innovation, we must also provide the right environment for staff to grow with it; new skills, new opportunities, and new horizons.’
