ColourCo has upgraded its creasing and folding capability with the installation of a Morgana DigiFold Pro XL. The new machine joins an existing Morgana DigiFold Pro and a Morgana AutoCreaser at ColourCo’s premises in Southampton.
The DigiFold Pro XL is a heavy-duty automatic creasing and folding system designed to complement mid-to-high volume digital and offset production presses. ColourCo’s model can handle stock sizes ranging from 210 to 1300mm in length and is able to fold up to 6000 A4 sheets per hour, rising to 7500 in crease only mode. The machine, which is able to create up to 30 creases per sheet, has a maximum loading capacity 200mm, and a stock range of 80 to 400gsm.
