Modular vehicle branding specialist Brandfixx has installed a Zünd G3 L-2500 at its production facility in Hull, saying it opted for the digital cutting system due to its ‘precision and cut quality.’

Founded back in 2020, Brandfixx claims to have developed a ‘pioneering modular vehicle branding system, designed to be simpler, more versatile and less expensive’ than traditional vehicle wraps. The company believes that, given its system is the first of its kind, it ‘has completely revolutionised the vehicle branding industry.’

Managing director Greg Saunderson commented, ‘Our new solution has been specifically developed to be a quicker and more cost-effective solution for vehicle branding. Brandfixx simplifies the design, production, and application process. Resulting in substantial cost savings against traditional methods and considerably less downtime per vehicle. Being completely modular, it also makes it easier to replace or repair vehicle branding.’

According to Brandfixx, another advantage of its offering is a lower carbon impact versus painting or traditional vinyl wrapping methods. Mr Saudnerson explained, ‘With our kits being 100% modular, we’re able to nest the panels on the vinyl roll minimising waste and reducing ink. The quicker installation times also means lower electricity demands and reduced need for multiple fitters. Every step of our process is designed to be as efficient as possible.’

The company needed a digital cutting solution that could deliver +/- 0.1mm accuracy alongside ‘exceptional’ cut quality. With its sister company already operating Zünd cutters, Brandfixx knew that the Swiss-manufactured solution would fit the bill.

Since the G3 L-2500 was installed, Brandfixx says that its operations have been improved in a variety of ways. ‘Our material wastage has reduced by 50% on jobs, which in return reduces our customers’ carbon footprint,’ Mr Saunderson concluded.  ‘The Zünd software also gives us great insight into our cutter’s productivity and allows us to create efficient KPI’s for the business.’
