CSM Live appointed Hollywood Monster to be the principal local supplier for printed materials to dress Birmingham’s Commonwealth Games 2022.
The team at Hollywood Monster worked seven days a week, 24 hours a day and spent over 500 hours of print time to hit the deadline to deliver displays at key venues. Projects included wrapping the Copthorne Hotel, hoardings for walkways, bridges, Alexander Stadium, and fan parks, along with smaller projects.
Simon McKenzie, CEO of Hollywood Monster, said, ‘Some print projects were 30 by 20m whilst others were 1000 by 1m and everything in between. Such a wide spread of work some requiring extensive finishing that only comes with experience. It’s with great pride that we can say that our work has been seen and enjoyed by people from all over the world. We thank CSM Live for trusting us as a partner on such a historic event in our home city.’
Tim Andrews MBE started the business in 1991 from his parents’ family loft space and is well known in the industry for his charity work across Birmingham.
Mr Andrews added, ‘Our fantastic city has put on a fantastic event and we can rightfully beam with pride around the world.’
