Leeds-based FaberExposize UK and sister company Northern Flags have invested in a Zünd G3 flatbed cutter to help meet the growing demand for rigid substrates such as Correx, Foamex and ACM panels.
The cutter can process materials up to a thickness of 110 mm and, earlier this year, the factory acquired Agfa’s Jeti Tauro H3300 with an output of up to 453sqm/h.
Iain Clasper-Cotte, managing director of FaberExposize UK, said, ‘The installation of the Jeti Tauro this year significantly sped up our print output and we quickly realised that our factory would benefit from a second Zünd machine entirely dedicated to cutting rigid materials. We’re well-known across the country for the quality of our fabric print so we want to show our clients that we’re just as skilled when it comes to rigid media production.’
