Nottingham-based specialist systems distributor and service provider ArtSystems has been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for Hahnemühle’s Digital FineArt inkjet papers and canvases with effect from 1 December 2022.
The Digital FineArt media are claimed to achieve ‘outstanding’ printing results and an age resistance of over 100 years, making them well-suited for long-term exhibitions, art collections and special editions. The papers use a variety of plant fibres, combined with manufactured wool felts to provide a ‘unique’ surface texture and three-dimensionality with a distinctive paper thickness and tactile feel that adds perceived value. All the media in the range have a premium inkjet coating, enabling high quality reproduction of colour and detail, with strong contrast and deep blacks.
‘We are delighted to be able to extend our already-expansive range of media solutions with the addition of these high-end products from Hahnemühle,’ ArtSystems’ marketing manager John Draycott said. ‘The Digital FineArt papers are of the very best quality and are suitable for multiple types of photography and fine art reproduction.’
Hahnemühle UK managing director Nancy Janes, added, ‘Hahnemühle products have been used by Picasso and NASA; we are craftsmen in the digital age and have generations of knowledge to pass on to our customers and partners. We are growing the Hahnemühle brand in the UK and having a best-in-class distribution partner in ArtSystems will enable us to do that.’
UK stocks of Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection papers are available immediately from ArtSystems for next-day delivery.
