Meanwhile Steve Murphy becomes the new head of production after over 15 years at Bex, having previously been the lead graphic designer.
Bex Design & Print provides industrial print and design services to a wide range of businesses in industries including electric vehicle (EV) charging, public transport, healthcare and traffic management. Its digital print fleet includes an InkTec Jetrix LXi8 flatbed and a roll-fed digital Mimaki CJV150-160.
In 2022 Bex became part of Amcomri Group Limited. The company also reached a major milestone in their work to help create EV charging stations for the UK and Europe, producing components for their 500,000th EV charging station.
Ian Board, chairman of the board at Bex Design & Print, said, ‘Mel, Ed and Steve are a credit to the company, and they have thoroughly earned their promotions. They have combined experience of around 50 years working at Bex, and they bring their immense experience and knowledge to their new roles.’
