Trotec Laser has strengthened its UK operations with the opening of a brand-new laser showroom in Edinburgh.
The laser-cutting systems manufacturer will open the 153sqm demo room in Newbridge, following a decision to relocate from Stirling earlier this year. The new facility provides a larger space to accommodate a wider range of Trotec’s laser cutters, engravers, marking systems and materials.
The demonstrations offer the chance for business owners and equipment specifiers to receive tailored advice when looking to invest in laser cutting equipment. Trotec offers a one-to-one demonstration experience for visitors to trial and test a variety of laser cutting and engraving equipment using different materials and designs.
Chris Green, Trotec’s area manager for Scotland, said, ‘I am looking forward to supporting businesses with laser training and advice from the new unit. We’ve kitted it out with a wide range of Trotec lasers and a host of product displays and samples to inspire and inform prospective buyers.’
Bryan Jater, sales director for Trotec UK and Ireland, said, ‘Our new Edinburgh showroom is the next step in our evolution. With a larger and more modern showroom, we can offer a more complete experience for businesses in Scotland, further strengthening our customer service and support offering.’
At the showroom, visitors can preview and test Trotec’s range of engraving materials, from plastic laminates, woods, acrylic and metals. There are also a range of samples and applications created using Trotec materials and laser systems.
Trotec is holding its first laser demo days at the new facility from 26 to 28 June, with regular availability for appointments thereafter.
