Eight Days A Week Print Solutions (EDWPS) has announced its B Corp Certification, adding the direct mail and digital print provider to the tally of businesses in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.
The Nottingham-based company began the process in February 2022 and was confirmed on 2 October 2023, following a lengthy assessment and review. EDWPS is now one of 1500 UK businesses that have achieved the B Corp Certification; the scope also includes its subsidiary business, Eight Plus, which was launched in March.
Lance Hill, managing director of EDWPS and Eight Plus commented, ‘Going for B Corp Certification was the next logical step on our journey around social, environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Whilst the process has been rigorous it was made simpler by our ISO foundations across the four standards we already hold for quality, environmental, information security and health & safety (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001 respectively), plus already being carbon-neutral was also a factor.
‘All of our certifications form the backbone of our business and will continue to do so going forward. We will never rest on our laurels or be complacent as continual improvement is what differentiates us and it is what our clients expect to see, or even demand.’
EDWPS employs 27 staff across both its businesses and is expected to deliver a combined turnover of £14 million this year.
