Antalis has introduced a new range of recycled PVC-free banners – Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled – to its range of banner material for POS, signage, promotional and display applications.

Manufactured in Europe with post-industrial waste, Exten Prime-Ex PP is an environmentally friendly banner material, recyclable in polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) waste streams.

The range comprises 500mic/490gsm banner materials with two options. The first is Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled double-sided banner: coated on both sides for UV ink adhesion with 99% opacity for double-sided printing. The second is Exten Prime-Ex PP Recycled Frontlit Greyback banner: featuring a matt white primed surface and a grey opaque backing. It contains a minimum of 95% recycled plastic.

Available in 1100mm and 1150mm widths, and roll lengths from 50m upwards, the banners are made with post-industrial waste content, recyclable in PP waste streams, and have a primed coating, suitable for UV printability. European manufacture ensures they maintain a low carbon footprint, and they have an Antalis Green Star System rating of four stars.

Product manager for visual communications at Antalis, Mike Collins, commented, ‘We are excited to be offering our customers a sustainable and environmentally friendly range of banners with superb print quality. The new additions will be dove-tailed into the existing banner portfolio, and at Antalis, we can provide samples and a new easy reference guide to support customer selection of banner materials from our growing portfolio.’
